Women's Cut vs Standard Player Cut
Think of it like choosing a winter jacket you will wear over a sweater: the outer layer has to fit what sits under it. A women's cut hockey jersey and a Standard Player Cut are two answers to that question, and each player on your roster can give her own answer.
The Women's Cut follows women's body proportions: shaped through the chest and waist, a shorter body length that sits in proportion, narrower shoulders, and sleeves scaled to match. It still leaves room for shoulder pads and elbow pads, because a hockey jersey that binds across the pads is unusable however well it fits in the locker room.
The Standard Player Cut is straighter through the body, wider at the shoulder, and longer in the hem and sleeve. Plenty of women's players prefer it, especially those who wear larger shoulder pads or want the traditional loose silhouette.
So which one? Ask each player. Some rosters end up all Women's Cut, some all Standard, and many land in between. Every option works inside one order.
No player on a women's team is required to take the Women's Cut. Each player chooses by her equipment, her wearing preference and the sizes available in each cut, and the team can mix both cuts in the same design.

Leave Room for the Equipment
A hockey jersey is the top layer of a stack. Shoulder pads, elbow pads and sometimes a neck guard sit under it, and the jersey has to fit that stack, so sizing it like a regular women's top sends the wrong size every time.

These are the questions every team manager asks first. The honest answer to most of them is "it depends on your order", so here is what each one depends on, and where the confirmed figure appears.
Minimum Order Quantity
The minimum depends on the jersey type and decoration method. Send your roster size and the confirmed minimum for that combination is stated on your quotation.
Mixed Cuts and Sizes
Yes. Women's Cut, Standard Player Cut, youth and Goalie Cut count toward the same order when they share one design.
Sample Options
A fit sample in the chosen cut, or a fully decorated pre-production sample in your design. Sample terms are quoted as their own line.
Sample Lead Time
Depends on whether the sample is a plain fit sample or a decorated one. The date is confirmed when the sample is ordered.
Bulk Production Lead Time
Set by quantity, decoration method and the date the roster and artwork are signed off. It is stated on the quotation and confirmed at sample approval.
Repeat Orders
Patterns, colors and artwork stay on file. Add-on jerseys for new players follow the approved specification with only the new roster lines needed.

A sample is the cheapest mistake you will ever make. Here is the sequence that turns one approved jersey into a roster that fits.
Send a reference jersey
Use a jersey that already fits a player well as the starting point, along with its measurements over pads.
Confirm the cut sample
We produce a Women's Cut or Standard Player Cut sample in the requested size for review.
Try it on over equipment
The player wears the sample with shoulder pads and elbow pads on, and moves the way she plays.
Confirm the four points
Sleeve length, chest, body length and hem are checked and any adjustment is noted.
Grade the size run
Once the sample is approved, the full size run is graded from it in both cuts.
Lock the final roster
The last roster confirmation happens before bulk cutting, so late changes are caught in time.
