The standard body is air knit polyester at 160–180 gsm — the weight the factory's jerseys run on across the range. It keeps the fuller garment light despite its larger panel area, which matters on a cut that carries measurably more fabric than the player version.
Mesh polyester at 140–160 gsm goes in as vent panels where heat builds under the load — underarm and side zones — without changing the garment's read from a distance, since the panels are dyed or printed to continue the body colorway.
A Heavier Option, Held to the Same Rule
Double-knit polyester at 200–220 gsm remains available for programs that want a heavier hand or a tougher training-day garment.
Whichever weight is approved with the sample is the weight every later run of that garment comes back in; printing and dyeing both happen at the fabric stage, ahead of the cutting table, so the approved range is what ships.
