What it deliberately leaves out:

Two commitments frame everything below. First, this chart is our own publication, built on our own grading — not reproduced from, and not cross-mapped to, any retail brand's or another manufacturer's chart.
Second, these numbers are the reference base: production on every order follows the confirmed spec recorded for that order, with this chart as the starting point.
A buyer should leave this page able to do three things: spec a jersey order down to the numbers, plan a size run across a roster or a market, and verify a delivery on the dock with a tape measure. Every section below serves one of those three.

The Five Measurement Points on a Hockey Jersey
Every jersey on this site is specified, inspected, and received on the same five points — all measured flat on the finished garment, never on a body.
- Chest
- Pit to pit, taken 2.5 cm below the armhole. The single number most size decisions hang on.
- Body Length
- High point of the shoulder to the hem. Sets where the jersey lands over the padded pant.
- Sleeve
- Center back of the neck to the cuff — one continuous run across shoulder and arm.
- Hem
- Flat across the bottom opening. The point that decides how the jersey sits in motion.
- Bicep
- Sleeve width at the armhole seam — the point that has to clear an elbow pad in the team's existing protective setup.
One measuring language runs through the whole order: the buyer measures these five points at spec stage, the factory's QC measures the same five at inspection, and the receiving check at the buyer's dock uses the same five again.



Measuring a Hockey Jersey: Flat Garment, On-Body, or Dressed
Three measuring bases cover every kind of buyer, and each suits a different situation. The chart itself is written in one of them — flat garment measurement.

Flat Garment
A brand or decorator holding a jersey that fits the way the new run should fit lays it on a flat table, smoothed without stretching, and tapes the five points.
That set of five numbers is a complete size spec on its own — the rest of the size run is graded from it against the ladder. When a buyer sends a physical reference sample, this is the measurement set the pattern room works from.

On-Body
The fallback for roster collection when no reference garment exists: chest at the fullest point with the tape level, plus height and weight as cross-checks.
It produces a starting size label — but it says nothing about what the jersey must fit over, which is why team orders are asked for the third basis.

Dressed
The hockey-specific basis: the player is measured wearing the full protective setup the jersey will cover — chest taped over the shoulder pads, sleeve taken with the elbow pad in place.
Which basis fits which buyer:
- Brands with a reference sample go flat.
- Clubs running a fitting day go dressed.
- Distributors and blank buyers without players on hand plan straight off the size run in the next sections.
Whichever route an order takes, the result is recorded as that order's confirmed size set — the target the production tolerance below is measured against.
Reference Size Chart: Player Cut, Youth to Adult
Measured flat on the finished garment — dimensions for a jersey worn over the protective layer, not body sizes. The dressed-fit mechanism for the lower body is covered once on hockey pant shells.

All values in cm / inch, converted at 2.54 cm to the inch. Blank and decorated jerseys are cut on this same run, and a custom order can offset the whole table — a longer body, a slimmer chest — while the grading ladder stays fixed. Production follows the order-confirmed spec.


Hockey Goalie Cut: Same Size Label, More Room
Hockey goalies dress in far bulkier padding than skaters, so the same size label maps to larger garment dimensions. The hockey goalie cut adds a fixed delta to every point of the same-size player cut.

Same size label, more room — and the two cuts are specified per line item, so they never mix under one label.
The recording rule
The pattern logic behind the two cuts — why they are drafted differently and never swapped — is covered on custom hockey jerseys.
A typical roster carries one or two hockey goalie jerseys against twenty or more player jerseys, and the order file records the cut per line. Receiving verification uses the same five points and the same tolerance for both cuts.


One Grading Ladder From Youth S to Adult 3XL
The sizes step on a uniform ladder — running continuously from Youth S through Adult 3XL, graded from one pattern set. There is no jump or reset at the youth–adult boundary.
That continuity is what buyers actually use. A brand that approves its Adult M sample can read off what its 2XL will measure before the graded set arrives. A youth club whose oldest players cross into adult sizes specs the whole roster on one chart, in one measuring language, instead of reconciling a children's table against an adult one. A distributor planning a regional size curve can see the exact spread between adjacent labels — +4 cm of chest per step — and map the market's distribution onto the run without gaps or doubled-up sizes.
Program orders record the confirmed size set once; reorders and mid-season top-ups read the same graded pattern set, so next season's size L measures like this season's. And because the ladder is fixed, a custom offset — a longer body across the whole run, say — shifts every size by the same amount and the steps between sizes stay intact, so an offset order keeps the same internal logic as the reference chart.

Production Tolerance and How to Check a Received Order
Every order is produced against the order-confirmed chart, and the tolerance it is held to is published, point by point.
Widths — ±1.5 cm
Chest, hem, and bicep are held to ±1.5 cm against the confirmed spec.
Lengths — ±2.0 cm
Body length and sleeve are held to ±2.0 cm — a length runs more fabric through more finishing steps than a width, and the tolerance states that honestly instead of quoting one flattering number for everything.
Within one size inside one order, any two jerseys measure within 1.5 cm of each other on any point.
The piece-to-piece clause
A roster's worth of size L pulled from the cartons reads as one size, not a spread — twenty players suit up in jerseys that fit the same way. The same clause protects reorders: new pieces added to an existing stock of the same size have to sit within that spread, so a top-up run merges into last season's inventory instead of creating a second, slightly different "L".
Enforcement Is Scheduled, Not Aspirational
The first piece of every size is measured on all five points before the run continues — a failed first piece stops that size at the start of its run, while correction is still cheap. During the run, one piece in twenty per size is measured; all measuring is done flat, after sewing and finishing, by the 12-member QC team whose only job is checking.

Size Retention Through Wash Cycles and Reorders
Sizing only holds its value if the numbers survive the season — so retention is verified, specified, and structural, in that order.
Wash Behavior: Verification in the Buyer's Hands
Finished garments from the actual run can go to a third-party laboratory for shrinkage testing against whichever standard the buyer names, with the report available on request. The report reads the same five measurement points after the standard's wash cycles, so post-wash dimensions are compared against the order-confirmed chart in the same measuring language as everything else on this page.
The Fabric Side Is Settled at Spec Stage
Every jersey is built on one of three registered polyester fabrics — air knit, double-knit, or mesh — each with a fixed weight range, so the fabric going into a reorder is the same fabric, at the same weight, as the run before it. The piece-to-piece clause covers the delivered state; wash behavior is documented by laboratory report. A buyer building a multi-season program can request that report on the first order and keep it as the baseline for every later one.
Across Seasons, Retention Is Structural
A reorder reads the same graded pattern set and the same confirmed size spec as the original run, so this season's and next season's jerseys measure the same on the same five points — a player who wore an Adult M last season orders an Adult M this season without re-measuring.



Reporting Sizes for a Team or Program Order
A size report quotes fastest when it carries four answers.
- Quantities per size label. Counts against the labels on the chart — rough numbers are enough to open the inquiry.
- The basis those sizes came from. Flat measurement of a reference garment, dressed measurements from a fitting day, or age groups alone. Age groups are a valid starting point: the size split is proposed against the grading ladder, and the proposal goes back to the buyer for confirmation before anything is cut.
- Cut split. Player cut and hockey goalie cut marked per line item, not assumed.
- Offsets, if any. Where the order should deviate from the reference chart — a longer body across all sizes, extra room at the bicep — stated as numbers, not adjectives.

A Permanent Side Window
One more window stays open permanently: a change decided during a bulk run does not have to disturb that run. It is recorded on the order file and applies from the next reorder, so the sizing correction lands with the following delivery while the current one ships as confirmed.

An Independent Size Chart Built on Our Own Grading
Charts published by retail brands and other manufacturers are built on their own patterns, their own ease allowances, and their own label logic. A size label on someone else's chart is not a measurement, and this factory does not reproduce or cross-map those charts — there is no reliable conversion from another chart's "L" to this one, and none is pretended.
What transfers reliably is measurements. Measure by one of the three bases above, compare the numbers against this chart, and the label follows from the data rather than from habit.
